How do I identify the correct replacement part?+
Use the Find a Part search to look up parts by name, SKU, part number, OEM reference, machine manufacturer or machine model. If you cannot find your part, upload a photo, drawing or part number and NLC will help identify or manufacture a solution.
Can I upload photos with my enquiry?+
Yes. Our enquiry forms and quote wizard support photo, PDF and drawing uploads, including multiple attachments, to help us identify and quote your requirement quickly.
What are your trading hours?+
NLC Engineering trades Monday to Friday 6:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 6:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday by appointment. Contact us on 08 9091 8109 or admin@nlcengineering.com.au.
Do you provide mobile line boring?+
Yes. NLC Engineering is the largest provider of line boring and machining in the Western Australian Goldfields, with 6 mobile units covering most of WA. We bring line boring expertise directly to your site to minimise dismantling, transport and downtime.
Where does NLC Engineering provide field service?+
NLC Engineering provides field service across Western Australia, including Kalgoorlie-Boulder, the Goldfields, Eastern Goldfields, Pilbara, Mid-West and Perth, backed by our West Kalgoorlie workshop and 6 mobile units.
Can you manufacture discontinued mining components?+
Yes. Through reverse engineering and CNC machining, NLC Engineering can manufacture replacement components when OEM parts are obsolete, discontinued or have unacceptable lead times. Provide a sample, worn part or drawing and we will reproduce the component locally.
Can you reverse engineer an existing component?+
Yes. NLC Engineering reverse engineers components from samples, worn parts or drawings to manufacture replacement parts locally, including material identification and CNC manufacture.
Can you refurbish mining components?+
Yes. NLC Engineering repairs and rebuilds worn mining components including buckets, hitches, bores, intermediate shafts, dogbones, Z-links, bearings, bushes, pins and more — combining line boring, machining and fabrication to return components to service.
Can I send a drawing for quotation?+
Yes. You can upload drawings, PDFs or photos with your enquiry through our quote wizard or enquiry forms, and our team will review and quote your requirement.
Can you manufacture from a sample?+
Yes. NLC Engineering can reverse engineer and manufacture replacement components from a physical sample where no drawing is available.
Do you provide CNC machining?+
Yes. NLC Engineering provides CNC milling and turning for custom, one-off and repeat replacement components, including repair machining and reverse-engineered parts, from our West Kalgoorlie workshop.
